I’m from Philly where we had/have Franco & Luigi’s and The Victor Cafe that offer a lovely Italian menu with opera singers. Are there any restaurants in the DC area that offer something similar?

Do you mean like a dinner theater? |
Not exactly, something less formal. At the one restaurant I included in my OP, opera students worked as servers and would intermittently sing during the evening. It’s a more casual and intimate environment where others that enjoy the art of the opera can share a meal. |
We don't have those kinds of restaurants here, sorry. |
RIP Delmonicos in Tysons. |
Sorry meant Da Domenicos. |
They used to have it at Trattoria di Franco in Old Town. Flashback! |
The Italian Oven in McLean sometimes has Opera Night. |
The sister and brother who owned the restaurant were our neighbors many years ago, and lovely people. One year we went for our anniversary and they gave us one of the curtained booths in the back and the brother sang for us. It was wonderful! |
Loved Da Domenicos! |
