SWWFS is a much better choice.

Np. There are very long threads on this forum documenting and discussing parents many grievances about creative minds. In contrast, I don’t recall seeing any negative threads on swwfs. That doesn’t either observation is the absolute truth, but it should give you a starting place of what you can expect this group’s responses to be. You can find the threads by using the search function on the forum.

Because CMI is a mess with weak academics in the upper grades. SWWFS is a moderately strong DCPS with a decent middle school.

My 3yo just started at SWWFS 2 weeks ago because he's autistic and qualified to start early for their mixed autistic/neurotypical class. And then today we just got matched with CMI. We've been very happy with SWWFS so far (granted it's only been two weeks) and are inclined to stay, given the vague negative things we've heard about CMI lately, even though it will be a worse commute once it moves back to the West End.

OSSE DOT has its own problems, but your child is eligible for bussing, which would help with the commute issues.

I heard CMI had a coloring book with the Easter bunny in it. Judge it as your creative minds will.
