Breakfast buffet is included in resort cost.
All waitress did was pour a cup of coffee. What would you tip? |
Was this like a free breakfast buffet at the Hampton Inn or a very upscale brunch meal? |
Ski resort. Nice food. But still the server only poured one cup of coffee. |
Probably wouldn’t hurt to leave a Buck or two. |
I'd leave her $5. The thing is, that $5 will mean a lot more to her than it will to me. |
The ski resort lodges I’ve stayed at have a way to leave tips for staff at the end of your stay. I do that instead of tipping at every included meal. |
So, there isn't a check? You aren't signing for it to your room or anything with an area to leave a gratuity? If not, I wouldn't leave anything, because I never have cash on me anymore. But I'd worry over it. If I had cash I'd leave a $5 or a $10 I guess? But there are only two of us. FWIW, when I go to a fancy brunch buffet I still tip 20% on the bill even though pretty much all the server does is bring drinks.
If there is a box or something to leave gratuities at the end of the stay I'd make sure to cover 20% of what a similar buffet would cost elsewhere for tip for each day I did the buffet, in addition to tips for housekeeping etc. |
Complimentary brunch for everyone? No |
Who leaned up the table? Pushkin? |
"cleaned" |
LOL! Are you Russian? |
This. Did you clear your own plates, wipe down the table and sweep the floor? |
