Seeking Uber eats recommendations. I’m in NW DC.

When I get upset I Uber eats myself a piece of cake from a local bakery. I've only done this twice but it was so worth it.

Feel better OP! Keep Fighting!

I order and pick-up ramen. Never pay for delivery, unless you're not mobile. It's expensive, and they can mess up your order.

Sushi from Umi in Woodley Park is my go-to pick me up dinner.

Don't. Food should not be a source of comfort. Do some exercise; go for a walk.

Hope you are feeling better now, OP. Im scratching my head at the posters who think you should NEVER order delivery or turn to food for comfort. Both perspectives are beyond bizarre to me. I love the Tom Yum soup from Thai Pad when I need a pick-me-up. I’m not a vegetarian, but like their vegetable version the best.

Yeah. I think rewarding yourself with food or using food delivery because you had a “bad day” to seek comfort is a bad plan. Seek solace elsewhere

Why do you think this? Are you not familiar with the concept of comfort food? And why do you have “bad day” in quotes? You’ve never had one of those?
