Gotta be at least 8000K MWF for Threes considering the Fours program we were looking at MTWTh was 9500K and the Full Day Kindergarten is 13500K. Seems to be a lot of turnover administration-wise @ LI campus the past few years or is it just me?

If you want half-day, we liked A Child's Place in Broad Run Farms, just past Countryside. We were offered a spot and would have enrolled, but we ended up moving to Vienna.

We also liked Classroom of Discovery in Sterling Park near Rolling Ridge Elementary, but their wait list has been long ever since they were featured as a "best" preschool in Northern Virginia Mag.

I went to this school as a child when it was called Blake Preschool. It's under new ownership now, so I can't vouch for it 30 years later, lol!

Thanks! You are the 3rd person who has recc'd A Child's Place so I think once the school year gets underway I will give them a call. We are planning to buy in the spring so I have time.

At the Lowes Island Campus, they have had the same Head of School for 7 years. Most lead teachers have been there for 6 years or more. The Kindergarten teacher has been there for 11; Junior Kindergarten for 9; Montessori for 16 etc. Tuition rates vary on how many days your child will be attending or if you need full-day care or just mornings. It's an awesome school where "Learning Feels Like Family" and the are truly partners in parenting!
