Looking for recommendations for an effective concealer that will conceal dark, deep circles under my eyes.
Thank you in advance for suggestions. |
Nars liquid concealer with hourglass setting powder |
I’m 48 but I use tarte concealer just to knock them down a bit. I wait half an hour then go back in with a brush to wipe/blend where it has creased in my wrinkles. It’s not perfect but it’s ok for most days. Following to see if anyone has better recs… |
One tip - use a color corrector in addition to a concealer - it makes a big difference - Charlotte Tilbury, Sigma Beauty and MAC make good ones. My current favorite concealers are Estee Lauder, Haus Labs and Tower 28. |
how do you apply the setting powder? |
Thank you!! Will try the suggestions.

Chanel, but the jar packaging is bad |
The Haus labs concealer has been great for me and comes in a ton of shades to get a perfect match. When the circles are really bad I use the Oleg Hendrickson yellow color corrector underneath. |
Lots of brands have good ones but it’s the color matching that is so important and can be difficult |
Caffeine eye cream is what works for me. It dilates blood vessels to make skin plumper and redder. My skin is too textured to correct under eyes through concealer.
Don’t use at night (bc caffeine isn’t good to sleep). Morning is fine. This is a good one to try bc not expensive. https://www.theinkeylist.com/collections/skin/products/caffeine-eye-cream# |
Trinny London, best make up ever.

What color corrector do you buy? |
+1 I use a concealer under my eyes that is 1 shade darker than my regular concealer. I also use a color correcting primer underneath. |
YSL Touche eclat - goes on really smooth and doesn’t cake. I’m 44. |
Would you mind explaining how the color corrector works? I purchased one from MAC online but it confuses me. Am I supposed to mix it with the concealer? |
