Child Support in DC

I am seeking a modification in my order bc expenses and ex dh income have both increased significantly.

The attorney I used for the first order passed away so any recommendations are appreciated.

Is there a reason you need an attorney for this? It's a straightforward process since they just use the child support guidelines and calculator.

+1. Absent a complicated situation I would just have a consult to make sure you have everything in order and proceed pro se. Just my two cents as a lawyer.

Requests to modify CS can backfire if your income has also increased. “Expenses” generally are included in the guidelines calculations, so increased expenses aren’t necessarily a reason to change CS unless they fall into specific categories. This is to say it’s not always so straightforward.
