Principal caught on recording making racist statements about black students, insulting staff members and attacking Jews. Surprised this hasn’t been posted yet.

I wouldn't rush to believe it. It could be doctored. It probably is if you pay close attention to the sequencing and where the emphasis are. The clip is too convenient as Pikesville HS is around 30% Jewish and 55% black.

But, that aside, even if I completely agree it's most likely fake, if one is being pragmatic, you're dealing with a school that has a high performing Jewish demographic and a large underperforming black demographic. Test scores have fallen sharply at Pikesville in the last decade mainly because of the latter, not the former. Pikesville was once the Jewish HS for Baltimore County with a top reputation but in the last 20 years slow but steady demographic changes have changed things. It's become a bit of a schizophrenic school and I wonder how much longer that will continue.

Has anybody corroborated this? Was it at a staff meeting or on a one on one meeting. I’m asking because my husband heard it on the news this morning and thought, before they said anything, that it could be a deep fake. He said it’s incredibly easy to make them. Personally, I think it sounds authentic. (And in the grand scheme of things, this is peanuts, but secret recordings are illegal in Maryland, and whoever recorded that could land in some hot water too.)
