I’m in need of a new shampoo. My hair is colored treated. Its also very thick and wavy. Suggestions? I’ve been using Pureology Hydrate for the last decade and have been really unhappy with it for some time. My hair never feels clean. I make sure my hair is really wet before applying and to rinse well but my hair feels coated, especially the under layer in the back of my head. I’ve used my kids’ Redkin All Soft but it was too heavy. I actually have been happier using Pantene (when traveling) but don’t think that’s good for colored hair. Long ago I used a French shampoo that was amazing and wish I could find it again but I can’t remember the name. I got a trial of R+Co Gemstone that I think I liked but there was only enough for one wash so I’m not sure.

Do you double shampoo? I follow Abbey Yung on IG and my hair has gotten so much softer and cleaner following her recommendations. Double shampooing was a game changer. I also switched over to the Loreal Ever Pure shampoo and conditioner based on her videos and I've loved it.

No it wasn’t. I’m intrigued about this brand but I can’t over the prices.

Pantene silk and smooth 2 in 1. I have to also use their conditioner. Haven't found anything better.

I've also started double shampooing my hair, and it has been amazing! I had oily roots and dry ends which I learned was from not properly shampooing my hair and getting all the oil/residue off. I really like Act & Acre.

Thanks! I have really liked the travel sized Pantene I tried on trips but I just wasn’t sure if it was bad for color treated hair.

I’ve just spent the last 15 minutes watching her videos.

Always the one and only Suave Green Apple Shampoo and conditioner. Which they discontinued!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now their strawberry line.
The cheapest, best shampoo you ever could have.
I have a similar issue op, my hair is heavy and any shampoo or conditioner with a ton of crap in it makes my hair feel and look dirty.
I've tried Pureology too, DD uses it, it feels like I need to wash my hair as soon as I dry it after that shampoo.

Suave daily clarifying shampoo twice a week. Seriously.

Right? I am the pp above. Suave all the way. Other shampoos make my hair feel like a washed it in lard.

Did you find their Green Apple products anywhere recently? I need to go buy all the remaining stock.

Suave makes my hair feel like straw.

I have had great results with Function of Beauty bespoke shampoo and conditioner. Enough to order it a second time. I did not have good results with Prose bespoke shampoo, not sure why. I have always had good results with Aveda products as well.

I have coarse 2a hair (used to be straight but ... menopause) and lots of it. It's highlighted and on the dry side.
