I love this picture so much.

I don't love that it's from Fox news but no way in hell that's a college student. A-hole paid protestors doing nothing but stirring up division.

At what point do these college students need to take some responsibility for the divisive people protesting alongside them?

On both the right and the left, this is a problem. And both sides are afraid to call out their more extreme members and prefer to just pretend that they aren't responsible.

The problem is that both sides are treated so differently (in particular by the media) on this issue.

Yes- Jan 6th rioters were treated like criminals and these protesters - calling for violence and intifada - are being treated with kid gloves likened to civil rights activists.

+1
It’s truly mind-boggling to see the difference in treatment. These protesters are animals and should be treated as such. Masked rioters, breaking windows and barricading themselves inside buildings? Where’s the SWAT team?

And these thugs shouldn’t just be “suspended,” they should be expelled. With an arrest record.

Zero Jan 6 insurrectionists were arrested on Jan 6. They beat up police, destroyed the capitol, etc and were all allowed to just go home. On the other hand, lots of these students are getting arrested. So yes, there’s a big difference in treatment.

More than 450 of the January 6th protesters have gone to jail. Hopefully the same fate will befall the pro-Hamas students running riot at Columbia.

+1 and any non-American protesters should be deported.

People have rights you moron. You don't get to just ship off people who say and do things you don't like. That's the freedom you idiots never stop bleeting about. It cuts both ways.

DT.

FTR, it's not at all clear legally whether/when the US government can deport noncitizens for their speech.

See Reno vs. AAADC, Kleindienst, Galvan, etc.

So it's entirely possible that the government could seek to deport noncitizen students who participate in protests.

Judiciary just spoke out on this issue. If a student is on visa and it’s determined he’s engaging in supporting terrorism (Hamas is recognized as terror organization), then he can be immediately deported.

Related, but not quite the same issue.

Question is: can a nonresident be deported from the US solely for the content of their speech?

Answer is: maybe.

Would not be surprised if Trump tested this if he's elected.

In case you’ve been asleep, the mob is well beyond “speech”.

Obviously, any nonresident who takes illegal ACTION can be deported.

You're a few steps behind the interesting part.

No, that’s exactly what multiple posters are saying. The mob at Columbia has violated several criminal conduct codes in the past 24 hours. They don’t deserve to remain in our country.

Yes the pro Israel agitators have been emboldened by the support the university has given them. I hear loyalty oaths to Israel will be required by next semester.
They can call it support statement for DEI.

You want food? You have a food plan? Fine. Leave the building and go to the dining hall.

This administration should not bring them food nor should they allow food to be brought in.

Just a bunch of whiny, privileged idiots who couldn't pack a sandwich or go hungry for a couple hours for the cause they supposedly are so passionate about.

You are too dumb to understand the symmetry they are drawing. It’s an inventive tactic. They have forced the “civilized defenders of democratic values” to shed the mask.

OMG, I just can’t. These jacka$$es wouldn’t know “civilized defenders of democratic values” if they smacked them in the face. These dopes SUPPORT HAMAS.

I’m pretty sure they can run circles around you in any intelligence test.

Because everything so far points to how intelligent they are? Sure, I’d take that bet any day.

So, can they not go to the dining hall? I read an article that said the university had expelled the protestors, so is that why they can't use the university resources?

No, they have barricaded themselves into Hamilton Hall. They aren’t leaving.

I mean what a genius plan. Trap yourselves in a building. How do they think this is going to play out?

DP. I’m imagining them as they finished the barricade, looking around at one another and saying, “Who brought the snacks?” Utter morons.

This is their spokesperson? What an absolute clown. So apparently Columbia is obligated to provide food to the trespassers pursuant to their paid meal plan. Then she changed message within 30 seconds after realizing how stupid that sounded. These idiots want to "change the world" after never having lived on it.

These mobsters are hilarious. Guarantee you there’s a GoFundMe set up for their humanitarian aid.

“Basic humanitarian aid.” Go home, make a sandwich and take a shower, you loser!

+1
Can you imagine how bad they all smell? And now they’re trapped together. Makes me smile.

And you know those masks are rancid by now.

But an improvement over the last one! That one thought we should - and I quote - "be grateful that I'm not just going out and murdering Zionists." He/she/they then clarified, naturally, that "all Zionists deserved to die." He/she/they also believes that people are upset with the statements because he/she/they is "visibly queer and Black."

So in the big scheme of things a demand for snacks seems comparatively reasonable.

Progress!

Actually the probability leans heavily in their favor; we know the school’s stats. All we know about you is that you are an internet troll.

I suggest we send in the military to build a small airport next to the building to airdrop supplies to the students.

Except this experiment has played out and will continue to play out as it does in Gaza. The violence of the rage of the power class will keep escalating, Zionists are quite predictable.

THESE IDIOTS ARE THE POWER CLASS.

This was Khymani James. Was expelled a few days ago.

But there is video that he’s one of the mob that broke into the building last night. So…he’s still there.
