Thoughts about Main Line Schools

Hi, long time reader, first time poster. Excited for the new Philly subforum!
My family lives in suburban Philadelphia and we have young children. I feel like I have learned a lot about DC schools from reading DCUM and I would love to hear people’s thoughts about the Main Line Philadelphia schools. With the good public schools in the area, did you choose to send your child to public school, private school, parochial schools, etc., and why? I am specifically interested to hear thoughts about the Lower Merion public schools (where we live), but would also be interested to hear about other townships as well. |

| Not quite the Main Line but we’re in Rose Tree Media school district and we’ve been really happy. Small school district, plenty of resources, good teachers and administration, involved parents but not a super high pressure environment from what we’ve seen so far. |

| LM is great, but keep in mind that it currently does not have full-day Kindergarten and won’t until fall 2024. |
