Urbana elementary schools

We’re looking at houses in Villages of Urbana and really like the area. I’ve heard the schools are good but crowded. Does anyone here live in the area? What exactly does crowded mean; 20, 25, 30 kids per class? Are the schools competitive? I’d love to hear any and all pros and cons of the elementary schools in the area. Many thanks.

My kids attend Kemptown, but given that we feed into Urbana HS, we've met a few folks like that in the Villages. They really do love it.

And while we bought because we wanted some land and privacy, we do go to the Villages often. I'll give them credit; they did a great job of new development/walkability/quality of life.

there are some great places for lunch and breakfast that you can walk to. I see the teenagers walking to Starbuck. Pump & Rye is a great sandwich shop. Plus, the library is great, and walkable from most of the communities.

Like I said, we wanted a little bit more space. But if that wasn't a priority for us, the Villages would have been high on our list

It's not exclusively about the elementary schools but I found this thread helpful when looking into Urbana.
