+ good education without debt and promising career

Why would I care that she received a “good” education, whatever that is?

You would want smart children. It is often said the best indicator of your child’s success is the mother’s education level.

Disagree. While it would be great for the mother to be educated, there are countless examples of SAHM w/ a HS education raising accomplished kids. Immigrant families stress the importance of education which is why so many of the children are accomplished.

Immigrant families also tend to have families where both parents are highly educated, the minimum being a college degree

You can’t be that smart yourself if you don’t know that intelligence is mostly genetic. It’s not “education” - it’s how well the person’s brain works.

We are talking about immigrants from Scandinavia or the Netherlands, right?

You do know that only 12% of immigrants admitted into the US in the last 4 years have a college degree from an accredited college I hope.

What kind of immigrant moms? I am the child of Asian immigrants. My mom worked a blue collar job despite having a college education and I grew up poor. I was a strong student, went to a top college and ivy grad school, where I met my DH with a similar background.

Sorry, insisting on privacy is a dealbreaker.

Only for exhibitionists. Not all men with high earnings are exhibitionists

Fit, friendly, feminine. And you know when to shut up, and when to talk.

Here I was dreading the task of writing my dating app profile, and you just did it for me.

Rembrandt + Mark Cuban hybrids don't exist. You might find an odd banker who plays cello decently in some Ivy League circles. There aren't enough hours in a day to maximize both forks in the road.

My DH is a former D1 college athlete, Ivy League law, now big law partner. He likes me because we share a similar sense of humor and similar interests. I am ambitious but that's honestly just gotten in his way in life. He would be happier if I didn't work, though I do.

No but education teaches you how to think, research and analyze.

Oh yes, good education and no debt are key.

They are, for both genders.

Men who are like this don’t care about your education, job, etc.

They want the prettiest, fit, with the best personality. They give zero f#cks about your career or education.

Agree. OP needs to drop her “culture” requirement.

Also agree with fit, friendly, feminine (and thin).

Unlike what others have posted here, my attorney and doctor female friends shared that many of their ambitious male colleagues did not prioritize ambition in their wives. One very attractive friend had better luck dating when she identified as a yoga instructor vs attorney.

I don’t know many people in finance so can’t speak to those guys.
