Latin is good/fine. But it is not far from the DCUM crowd. It is hyped up big time on DCUM. People are just quiet about reading DCUM in real life.

A positive comment was made about DCI and then it follows by focusing on Basis.

The only person here with a BASIS fetish is you. The thread is about rankings and BASIS is well represented. BASIS is also more highly rated. Those are statements of fact. There are certainly DCUM examples where a BASIS discussion completely hijacks a thread about something else or some other school. This just doesn't happen to be one of those situations.

The DC Rankings may be close but the spread Nationally is very telling. Don't be angry with Walls. Its a special place.

Say what you want about great schools in MD and VA, but the only school that beat out Walls in the DC "Metro Area" Ranking was Thomas Jefferson in Alexaxndria #1 in DC Area Metro Ratings (Walls #2) and #14 Nationally. Every other school in the area can "please step to the side", DC is coming through.

My kid not at SWW. No one hates on it. I think what a number of people are saying is that the result is expected and any other outcome would be an embarrassment. Application HS should run circles around non-application.
