Not sure about this year but in previous years families called the Science and Tech coordinator and he gave them their ranking. There will be some movement because some of the kids will decide to go to Academy of the Sciences or Privates. |

| I know someone in my kids class has a score of 2330 and waitlisted for ERHS and eligible for Duval. I think you call the science and tech coordinator and verify the status. |

| If DS decides not attend this year bc he wants to try private school, but it doesn’t work out, can he get in in 10th grade with the same score, or does he need to redo everything? |

Us too, DS had a score just above 2300 and got into ERHS. |

He won't need to take the PSAT again but they will recalculate his score based on his GPA from eight grade and his first quarter of 9th. |

I was told that waitlist numbers could not be shared when my child was waitlisted. |

I think that seats are offered up until Sept 30 like all the other specialty programs

Completely speculative but maybe they are being selective about it? That is, considering other factors besides raw score maybe to balance the incoming class out. That doesn’t sound like it would be lawful so another reason is to manage families expectations about their chances of getting in. We are declining our spot to go private but it was a very hard choice. I think it’s a very good program and I’m very proud that my DC got in. |
