Psychic readings house in Chevy Chase

Anonymous
Has anyone seen the house near the corner of Connecticut and E. West Highway that has a big psychic sign on the front? There’s always one or two expensive cars parked in front front. Is the psychic reader business really lucrative?

I am so interested in this house. Like what is going on there.

I live in the neighborhood and that house is fascinating. Such an anomaly in Chevy Chase. A few years ago there was a little bungalow on Brookville Road that had a psychic sign and I am wondering if the business expanded.

I’m the OP of the tarot thread. From my personal experience, the ones who have the giant PSYCHIC sign out front are the hustlers. I’m sure there are exceptions, especially back in the day before the internet, but the ones with the real gift don’t need to scream at people that they are a psychic. It’s usually word of mouth.

I am a poster who has done intuitive readings and card pulls on dcum. I don’t know the reader who works out of this house, but I tend to agree. I’ve never had to advertise. I don’t charge money for readings, but people always offer to pay. I understand why readers usually charge. The workshops, retreats, classes, and intensives are expensive. And it takes a lot of energy, practice, and preparation to be a good reader. I’m just not sure why you would need a giant sign. It somehow doesn’t feel right to advertise. I stay very busy (too busy this week) just from word of mouth.

It's not a large sign. If you don't know what you're talking about, stick to your own thread.

PP chill. I am the OP. I believe there are two signs one on the house and one in the front yard. The whole thing is just so strange because it’s in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

Allow me to give you an intuitive reading: you’re all hustlers.

Well of course... they are psychic!
You'd have to really be a bad psychic and not make loads of money. I mean, you know what is going to happen, duh!

Yikes. OP said it was a big sign, so I am going off that. You really could do with some meditation….

As someone who does only free readings, I’d like to ask how you think I’m hustling people. I am genuinely curious. Also, there is no need to be rude, I think open dialogue with skeptics is something important.

DP-curious about your “gift”. Seriously, I’m not skeptical per se, nor think you are a hustler. But how have you determined that you possess psychic abilities?

I agree that it is a big sign. You can easily see and read it from the road when you are driving by. It is meant to get people's attention.
