Forgot to add the ban isn't taking place until 2025 or something like that. So there are older people harvesting, torturing dogs alive and then eating them. |
I'm sure you will get that rule changed pronto! |
What’s illegal about it? As long as it has all the right paperwork it doesn’t sound illegal at all. |
I never said that South Koreans or Chinese are savages for eating dogs. We are all hypocrites....yes even you. If I can change people's opinions about eating dogs than I will. If they Hindus want to try to change my opinion about eating cow or chickend they can try. Do you believe other cultures should be not critized for circumsizing girls? You wouldn't try to change that practice? Just day oh well it's none of my business and it's their culture? |
Yes! I agree with you pp |
+1 How much are these services worth? here's what's included in the adoption fee at one shelter (and the amount is a recommended 180$ not 800$) A wellness exam Vaccinations like rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and Bordetella, a vaccine that helps to prevent kennel cough Heartworm test and preventative heartworm treatment Tick-borne disease panel Flea and tick preventative treatment Fecal test and deworming Spaying or neutering A microchip and the cost of insertion A small administrative fee to cover the cost of processing your adoption You think a veterinarian is donating his services 100% to neuter Fido before you take him home? |
My vet was far cheaper than your fee and that should be free. |
You mean the same way people are eating cows, chickens, fish, and other animals? |
They are having you lie and fly these dogs as your personal pets. |
If they are healthy and don’t have major behavioral problems, the shepherd and husky mixes go fast. I have repeatedly called about ones that were available one day and gone within a few days. There is not a surplus of shepherds languishing in shelters. Look at any shelter online sheet and 90% will be pit or obvious oit mixes … then call about one of the non-pit dogs and they will likely be gone. Sometimes they have a geriatric lap dog that belonged to some old lady who went into assisted living that is not well socialized. |
So you eat dogs? I also don't eat frogs, rats, squirrels or cicadas |
Depends on the shelter. |
I don't eat any animals. Why do you if you care so much about animals and rescuing them? It makes no sense to kill 100 chickens a year to feed you and your dog and have no consideration for those chickens dying. |
Weird, because if you look around tons of dogs available to adopt. Why not put a priority on getting those adopted before bring over more? |
Gosh this is bizarre. Do we not have enough dogs in the US that need rescuing? |
