Same but I’ve kind of stalled for the last 10 days. |
Oh thats very frustrating - I think just continue what you're doing and your body will catch up and restart the losing process again...maybe in a week or so. |
I wonder how different our bone structures must be for 5’4” tall women to all look good at very different weights.
I’m 5’4” and feel great at 135 although I’ve spent most of my late 30’s-late 40’s in the 145 range. That’s not ideal for me because I’m not muscular. I feel like I’d look like a bag of bones at 120! I follow a dietician on IG who is about 5’4” and 150lbs. She muscular but not too much. She looks fabulous. Seriously fit. Not skinny but thin. I think it’s really different for everyone. |
I don't know if someone has said this, but how I "feel" at each weight is confounded by age. I felt best at 125 lbs, but it was probably because I was 30, very active, ate well, and had not had kids yet.
15 years later, my discomfort is from bloating in the evening, a temperamental back, and achy joints. I am 135 now, but even if I was 125, I think I would "feel" the same. |
I am with you, not asian but north african and i also have a very thin bone structure. I manage to look a bit chubby at 120 and 5'5". I look best at 110 (currently 117) |
This is me as well, but I drink wine. It would easily go away if I stopped. |
171.6 lbs.
Started at 110 in my 20s..had 2 kids. About 122- 128 in my 30s Early 40s- 135 -140 as a high Mid 40s, dx with Hashimotos, goiter development- on Synthroid- 145 Late 40s-148 - 160 Lost some weight back to 144 lbs by age 50. Early 50s, thyroidectomy and yep, afib. Medication is now Synthroid and a beta blocker. Weight 165 Late 50s MENOPAUSE Woohoo-165 to 170 170 to 172 now at age 65. I wear a size 12. Size 10 shirt. This weight isn't budging at all. My diet is great, exercise regularly. I dont even eat 1100 calories in a day. I walk at least 4 miles a day. Here's the thing. I'm alive.I look Ok- I am not considered "heavy" but I am not thin, and I know that. I've stopped worrying about it. |
At 5'4" you should be size 0, 5'6" size 2 |
I’m 5’4, am 110. I look slim irl but in photos average. DH I think likes closer to 120 on me. I look average at this weight irl but in photos can look chubby. At 105 I look too thin irl but I love the way I look in photos. |
I am 5’4”. At my most fit, bikini body, size 2, I weighed 134. I am a bit busty and build muscle easily, so that may be why I weighed more than I looked like I did. |
I am 5 foot five and 145 is a good weight for me, more than I know what some people have said, but I have a lot of muscle I still wear a size 6 to 8 when I’m that weight |
I thought the same. I stopped drinking 12/31 and didn’t lose any ounce for months. |
This is me. I’m confused why I look so much heavier in photos. Are you also small boned? When people see me after not having seen me in a while they always ask if I’ve lost weight. I think it’s because they’ve only seen me recently in photos. |
A lot of people look heavier in photos. The camera really can add weight—lighting, angles, your clothing captured in the wrong way will do that. |
I think the guideline is
100 lbs for 5 ft. Add 5 pounds for every inch taller. So 5'4 would be 120 lbs, 5'5 would be 125 |
