Looks like there could be a serial clinic in our midst.

During the news conference, police also said that people living in the area where the shootings happened should have a heightened sense of awareness and that they should not open their doors to strangers.

According to the Washington Post, a forensic examiner laying the bullets side by side on a microscope could not say conclusively they were the same.

Much apologies. The attempt was to spread the word not be disrespectful. However, please keep in mind that typos do occur, unintentionally, and unfortunately I am dyslexic and have difficulty catching spelling errors.

I know all too well what it is like to have someone murdered. The person I know was in his house, with his girlfriend, when a man knocked on their door, busted in, and violently stabbed them both to death. I hadn't seen this man for a quite some time as I had moved away but it still shook my world and changed my reality.

The Alexandria Police Department has charged Charles Severance in the homicides of Ruthanne Lodato, Ron Kirby, and Nancy Dunning. He has been indicted on the following charges related to the three investigations:
Nancy Dunning Case: First Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony

Ron Kirby Case: Capital Murder, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon

Ruthanne Lodato Case: Capital Murder, two counts of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Malicious Wounding
This has been a complex and time-consuming investigation that has spanned almost 11 years. The Alexandria Police Department would like to thank the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Virginia State Police, and area law enforcement agencies for their assistance.

To provide updated information on this investigation, a press conference is scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2014, at 3 p.m. It will be held at Alexandria Police Headquarters and will be open to credentialed media. No. A separate suspect was arrested later the same day. In the press conference (that just ended) with the police chief announcing Severence's charges, he stated that at the time, there is no known connection between yesterday morning's victim, and the suspect arrested last night.

Was she killed inside of the home, not at the doorway?
