Sure! These are the two I am considering getting:

https://www.quince.com/women/linen-sleeveless-dress

https://www.quince.com/women/organic-linen-shortsleeve-dress?color=deep-navy

How do people look good in these dresses? They just seem to be shapeless sacks.
I am truly not trying to be mean right now either. I just don't see how they are flattering.

OP - I'm buying this to throw on instead of shorts and a t-shirt when I WFH, need to get kids to/from camp, grocery store run, etc. I don't need it to be particularly flattering - just loose and easy and comfortable. I wouldn't wear it to a wedding, but I wouldn't think twice if someone else did. Also, I have great legs and arms and a big stomach - this IS a flattering dress for my body type.

Agree. Look objectively at the models. Even they look BAD in them. There is nothing flattering about those dresses on size 2 models when compared to so many other forms of clothing.

I feel like they're very sneaky dresses. In theory they are very appealing (linen! little pleated tailoring!) but then you have to take a step back and objectively look at them. They are just SO UNFLATTERING!

OP, I wish everyone would stop offering their opinions on whether or not the dress you like is flattering and actually answer your question -- I am also interested in the answer. Sorry I don't have any experience with those dresses but I second the poster who said they had a good experience with Quince customer service.

I have two of the sleeveless Quince dresses and they are perfect for what you have described. They are a fairly sturdy linen that has held up well so far and isn’t super wrinkly. The white is see-through though so I would go with a darker color.

OP— Thank you!! Super helpful. I read reviews for the dresses on both sites and people have the same complaints about the $178 dress as they do about the $60 dress. 😂 $60 wins!

I have one of these and hate it, but not for any reason related to quality—it just looks terrible on me. But I’m a pear with tiny waist and stocky legs, so these dresses are exactly the wrong shape for my body. Should have been smart enough to recognize that before purchasing.

I’m actually considering getting one of these from Faherty now, they are cute! I think I’d take a Kohls dupe over the Quince one tho

Can’t comment on quince but I have the second Faherty one and the indigo color is amazing. The sleeveless one was shorter when I tried them on even though the website claims they’re the same length

I have the white, then bought the black also. 5’6 165. Pear shape. I normally don’t look my best in dresses that don’t have a waist but these work. Really like them.

Ditto. And like OP, I didn’t buy this dress intending it to be used very formally. I’m trying to up my jeans/pants and a t shirt game for regular weekends. Plus it seems great for hot days

I’ve owned the OG version of this dress, which I bought in Italy seven years ago. Just chiming in to say this is absolutely my go-to piece of clothing on DC days when it’s 90° + and I need to be outdoors for more than 45 seconds running from the car to air-conditioning

I don’t care if onlookers think it’s unflattering - it likely is. It’s hands-down the coolest item of clothing I own, and doesn’t stick to any skin. Who wants to wear form fitting clothing and be outside when the heat index is 113?
