The 'one stitch' or 'thread' facelift

Anonymous
Has anyone heard of or done this? What were the results?

Yes - I think they last only a few years though

I follow Dr. Youn, a plastic surgeon, on youtube. He doesn't recommend threadlifts because they are gone after a year.

I've only heard negatives OP. Don't do it. Threads popping. Threads pulled to tight.

There are two different things. Thread lifts and so called mini facelifts. The former isn’t with it, even if it works ot doesn’t last. Save up for a real facelifT. The latter seems like marketing mostly but I think is somewhere between thread and a deep plane facelift.
There some skin removal and maybe some
Muscle tightening but not sure.! I would think the best thing is to consult with several top plastic surgeons who are board certified in facial plastic surgery to learn more and see what your face would benefit from.

I see this advice often - don’t do minimal work, just go straight to a face lift. I am not sure it is the best advice given how permanent it is. Although I have no specific advice on threads, treatments like Botox and fillers are not permanent. If you don’t like them, your face will go back to pretty much how it was before. That is impossible with a face lift

I did threads and had great results, no issues. Lasted about two years and, in combo with a few dabs of tox plus minimal lip and undereye filler, achieved the look I needed with zero down time.
Went to a licensed NP. About to schedule a consult and see if I can do threads and tox again.
Early 40s, not interested in or need facelift yet.

Is your NP in Arlington by chance?

Who has loved their mini face lift? I’m really only looking for mid-face / lower lift.

Not a fan of thread lifts. Consider just getting the facelift if loose skin or jowls.

Agree. I had a thread lift and it was a waste of money.

Yikes who has a threadlift in their early 50s? Sounds crazy.
